Mark Williams FCA
Qualified in 1981 as a Chartered Accountant aims to offer a "commercial" view to business. Is passionate about clients affairs and enjoys the challenge of improving their profits and saving them tax. Advice is both creative and practical and tailored to each clients needs. Believes that having robust and timely management accounts information enables clients to make informed decisions in the current economic climate. Attention to detail and a grasp of the larger issues ensure a good all round service is provided.
Hobbies include trackdays in his Caterham 7, driving an old Porsche Speedster and working in his garden at weekends.

Paul Smith FCA
Qualified in 1991 as a Chartered Accountant his training in a medium sized practice has been invaluable in servicing the clients of Williams & Co. Since becoming a partner in 1997 he has become a specialist in solicitors and other professional practices. Able to advise on both accounts and tax matters he is capable of offering a tax saving and compliance service to clients. Assisting clients with management accounts enables the opportunity to not only improve profitability but also mitigate tax liabilities. Paul has been at Williams & Co since 1992 and is well regarded by clients and the local business community.
Having moved to Epsom Downs he has become a keen gardener but still finds time to follow Coventry FC's ups and downs ( mainly downs). He is kept busy at weekends with two young boys.

Simon Murray FCCA - Associate
Simon joined us in 2001 and is an Associate with in the firm. Trained in Sage and TAS Accounting he helps clients with management accounts. He has his own portfolio of clients and deals with all their needs. Simon seems to have become a bit of a property developers specialist and helps them with their complex issues including CIS and VAT.
His only weakness is that he is passionate about Kingstonian Football Club so tends to arrive depressed on a monday morning. However he must be an eternal optimist since he even travels to their away matches.

Debbie West
Debbie produces accounts for our smaller clients and assists clients with bookkeeping and VAT returns. Works from Tuesday through to Thursday.

Andrew Grieve
Andrew joined the company in 2005 and qualified as an ACCA in 2008, achieving excellent results throughout his studying. He is Australian and therefore likes the great outdoors, including a passion for martial arts. However, you may have trouble spotting the Aussie accent, having now lived here for over 8 years.

Rhian Dore
Rhian is ACCA qualified. She passed her finals with great results showing her determination to pass the tough exams. Previously Rhian worked in the NHS in budgeting and management accounting. (obviously they are missing her at present !)

Chris James
Chris joined us in Spring 2010 as a part qualified accountant. He was previously employed in the Franchised Motor Trade producing management accounts. He is currently well on his way towards qualifying as a ACCA. He is interested in in Far Eastern culture with a passion for Japanese cuisine and popular culture. He recently went to Japan and intends to indulge his passion with further trips to the Far East in the future.

Sara Hunter (nee Pettitt)
Sara joined us in Spring 2010 as a part qualified accountant. She previously worked in the finance department of a construction company. She is well on the road to taking her finals as a ACCA. As you can tell Sara was recently married and has changed her surname to her husband's. However her emails will still get through to her using the old address for a while.

Michael Amos
Michael joins us as graduate trainee from Durham University. He has already started the ACA study route and already passed a few of the exams although many more to take. Outside of work and studying he likes playing tennis and socialising.

Jade Meehan
Jade joined us in Spring 2011 as a trainee accountant and has day release to study for AAT exams. She takes her finals in 2012. She wants to then move on to study for the ACCA exams. Jade works Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays. Wednesday is currently her college day.

Alison Simpson
Alison is in charge of our payroll department and provides the service to over 140 clients. Alison has been with us since 1995 and works Mondays to Thursdays. During her time with us Alison has gained much experience in payroll matters and if you require a payroll service or information regarding payroll then please contact her.

Val Granger
Probably the most important person in the office !! Does the filing and stops everyone from going dry by delivering tea and coffee. Only works on Monday and Tuesdays but gets through the work so we are never in arrears with our filing

Christine Jones
Works with Alison with the payrolls. Christine has been with us since 2001 and works Wednesday through to Friday. Christine has gained much experience in her time with us and manages 60 of her own payrolls.
